Information Eates Cinema uses

When you sign in with Google, Google and Eates Cinema’s authentication service provide information needed to identify your account. Eates Cinema uses your Google account identifier, name, and email address for sign-in and membership authorization. Eates Cinema maintains your name, email address, membership status, and access level. Eates Cinema does not currently use your Google profile photo.

Eates Cinema uses Google sign-in only to authenticate your identity. It does not use Google sign-in to access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, or other Google account content.

Eates Cinema also keeps information created through use of the service, including:

• invitations, membership status, and member-group or showing-audience assignments;
• screening reservations, selected seats, confirmation numbers, tickets, cancellations, and check-in history;
• movie suggestions, notes, preferred screening dates or times, and member ratings submitted voluntarily;
• administrative and notification records needed to publish showings, admit guests, deliver service emails, and operate the private cinema.

How the information is used

This information is used to authenticate you, determine whether your membership is active, show programming available to you, reserve seats, provide and validate tickets, record admission, manage invitations and audiences, send service-related messages, and maintain the operational history of Eates Cinema.

Eates Cinema does not sell personal information and does not use member information for advertising.

Service providers

Eates Cinema relies on service providers already used by the application. Google supports identity authentication; Supabase supports authentication and application data; Vercel hosts the website; and Resend delivers transactional email. These providers process information as needed to supply their respective services under their own terms and policies.

Movie information and trailer presentation may come from third-party movie or video services. Eates Cinema does not intentionally send private membership, reservation, or ticket records to those media services.

Credentials and security

Invitation links and ticket QR codes act as credentials and should be kept private. Eates Cinema uses application access controls and database authorization intended to limit private records to the appropriate member or house administrator. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Records and assistance

Membership, reservation, ticket, check-in, suggestion, and administrative records may remain available as part of the house’s operational and screening history. Eates Cinema does not currently use a fixed retention schedule.

Members may contact the Eates Cinema administrator who issued or manages their invitation with questions or requests concerning their information.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated as Eates Cinema’s features or service providers change. The current version will remain available on this page.
